Do you hunt squirrel?

I am having a good time being part of this network...do you hunt squirrel? I know some people that have eatten it, but only know one guy in New York who eats it and got a few.

I live in Tennessee and we have tons of squirrels. Because of deer hunting I wait until January to hunt squirrels. I have a "squirrel hunting fool" for a dog. Her name is Mindy and there is nothing she loves to do better than to tree a squirrel. She lays around on the couch most of the year but come squirrel hunting time she is a whole different creature.

The thing about Mindy is that a squirrel cannot change trees on her without her knowing it. When you come up to her and she has her paws up on a tree and is barking, well there is a squirrel up there. I don't eat squirrels much any more but know people who love them so I give my squirrels away.
